24K was discovered in an unexpected time. Its components were former members of different bands who decided to build a group of their own. It happened when Relan (Band Leader, Drummer), former drummer of Hotlist and Anino, Erwin (Male Lead Vocalist, Rapper) former lead guitarist of Gabriel, and Gaylen (Female Lead Vocalist) former vocalist of Pure, met and decided to form a group of their own. A conversation happened on that day and it led a way to spread out that announcement. Their friends who are from the other groups would like to join their force, and they are: Kristoffer (Bassist) former bassist of Gabriel, Earl (Lead Guitarist) former lead guitarist of JRS and Uranus (Keyboardist) former keyboardist of JRS.

The Group officially started their gigs on September 2004 with no regular schedule and place to play. When the group was given a slot at LYCA Café & Steakhouse, the group decided to name their band on the day they started to earn income, respect and prestige. It was on February 4, 2005. So they called their band 24K because the group officially bonded their commitment together on February 4, 2005, i.e., 2-4-05 in Kalibo.

When the group had the chance to perform in Seraph Hotel at Boracay Island, they learned to sing some of the most popular songs in Korea. Later during the Kalibo Ati-Atihan 2007, they recruited Jerry (former Rhythm Guitarist, Vocalist of Gabriel Band and later vocalist/rapper of Cream Band) and Gigi (Female Vocalist and Rapper) and because of their talents in doing raps, as well as their affection in Retro and Rock Music, everybody in the group agreed to include him in the group.
